Carb Rebuild Kit 1967, probably works on most other patrols Niehoff CK-157 $12.00 I read the metal tag on my stock Rochester Carb and went to a Schucks Auto parts store and got the kit. The only comment my trusty mechanic said was that some of the gaskets weren't as thick as the original gaskets. The head on my carb is slightly warped, otherwise they might be fine. Chev HEI I-6 Distributor For Nissan Patrol Chev $0.00 OK ... I see info here on using a Chev I-6 Distrib. for a late 70's early 80's. I used the 240Z on one of my patrols and have the chevfor the other. Only the chev is way too long and it seems several inches would have to be cut off while leaving a few inches of the inner shaft? Then the shaft I assume would have to be ground down to make a slot for the original gear. HAS ANY ONE DONE A CHEV DISTRIB. If so how many inches did you cut off and how many inches of the inner shaft did you leave? And how did you bolt it down. Was the firing order the Same? Can anyone give me a blow by blow instruction of how they did it. And cutting off that much, what about the oil port? This sight has good ideas but what we need is a more intensive discription on conversion of parts to keep these things on the road. I am also still working on the length of the 240Z flat metal part to match the two female ends. Its seems its all trial and error. But it seems to work with a housing I made and a tube to go over the piece of metal to keep it in place. ( I broke the plastic one that was on the distrib. Clutch Master Cylinder Cap Gasket HELP! 42098 $6.99 Its meant for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury. It needs modification to fit though. Take a pair of scissors and cut between the the very outer and middle rings. Cut the outer ring off. Put it in the cap, and put it back on the master cylinder. -Jon 1/6/2004

Freeze plug 69 Nissan patrol I have been looking for a freeze plug for the back of the engine behind the flywheel. Its hard to figure the exact size, near as I can tell its approx. 2 5/16 or 58.72 mm. Very odd size but can anyone get the exact size? I have tried rubber expanding ones that don't work very well. I am to the point that I may just weld the cam plug I have that is a fraction too small into it. the engine was rebuilt but this plug was never found. I exact measurement may help of which I am unable to get. any help would be great. 11/20/2003
